We can all agree that the current system of first-past-the-post is outdated but what should we replace it with?

How can we make sure that the system we introduce is not only fairer to the smaller political party’s but gives individual independent candidates a much fairer chance when standing?

How do we prevent the deposit becoming an obstacle to fair elections? The more recent deposits set for the West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire Mayoral candidates calls into question whether or not we should continue with this part of the electoral system or abandon the idea of candidates deposits altogether.

Should we continue with relying on the ballot box and black pencil as the means of voters casting their vote or should we switch to the use of modern technology?
